At its session today the Serbian government adopted a Decree on measures for supporting the building industry. The measures envisage subsidised interest on loans for financing the construction of residential buildings in 2010, which will lower the prices of newly built flats.
The bill on the affirmation of the loan agreement between KfW Bankengruppe and the Serbian government for the water supply system and sewage facilities programme in Serbian municipalities was adopted.
The government also adopted the bill on the affirmation of the agreement between the Serbian government and the Swiss Federal Council on the road transport of goods and passengers and the bill on the terms and conditions for subsidised purchase of cars produced in Serbia through the car scrappage scheme for 2010.
The government also adopted the Conclusion regarding the Report on public bidding for issuing a license for public fixed telecommunication networks and services in the territory of Serbia, and the Conclusion related to affiliation of Privredna Banka Pancevo to Postanska Stedionica Belgrade.
Excises on tobacco, alcohol and oil derivatives were adopted and harmonised in line with the index of growth of retail prices in 2009.
The government also adopted the Decision on sending assistance to the Republic of Haiti through the Red Cross of Serbia in the amount of $100,000 for clearing up consequences of the earthquake.
