Serbian police officers help out in Haiti

The Ministry of the Interior stated that Commander of the Serbian contingent in the peace keeping mission in Haiti Biljana Lazarevic notified Minister Dacic that Serbian police officers are well and are helping to transport and distribute humanitarian aid to the people of Haiti.
The statement adds that Serbian Consul to Cuba Jelena Zivojinovic today visited the Serbian police officers and talked to them.
Commander Biljana Lazarevic acquainted the Consul with their work in Haiti and the current situation there.
The Serbian peacekeepers accompanied the Consul during her visit to the city and escorted her to the airport, the statement adds.
