According to the statement 72.1% of those vaccinated suffer from various chronic illnesses, while 17.7% are healthy, 5.2% are health workers, 5% are pregnant women and the rest include public service employees and social care workers.
Vaccinations are being administered at 1,127 locations throughout the country and 259,780 doses of the vaccine have been distributed up until now.
Inoculation is specially recommended for those suffering from chronic illnesses, women in the third trimester of pregnancy, health workers, public service employees, social care workers and healthy children older than six months.
A total of 661 cases of influenza A H1N1 have been confirmed in Serbia through laboratory analysis and 63 patients have died up until now.
A total of 415 patients have been hospitalized and 16 of these are on respiratory machines.
