Government adopts several bills

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Bill on confirming the agreement between the Serbian and Israeli governments on agricultural cooperation and the Bill on confirming the agreement between the Serbian and Kuwaiti governments on cooperation in the field of tourism.

The government adopted the Bill on confirming the agreement between the Serbian and Iranian governments on international road transport of passengers and goods and the Bill on amendments to the Law on veterinary medicine.

The government adopted the Bill on confirming the protocol between the Serbian and Italian governments on implementation of the readmission agreement between Serbia and the EU and the Bill on confirmation of the agreement between the Serbian and Israeli governments on cooperation in the fight against illegal trade and abuse of narcotics and psychoactive drugs, terrorism and other serious crimes.

Other documents adopted by the government are the Decision on the maximum number of employees in the public administration, the Decree amending the Decree on an internal and public job competition for state organs, the Decree amending the Decree on job classification and requirements for the positions of civil servants, and the Decree amending the Decree on evaluation of the work of civil servants.

Amendments to the Decree on the determination of businesses which are not obliged to keep records of turnover through fiscal cash registers, proposing the postponement of the obligatory introduction of fiscal cash registers for taxi services until March 1, 2010, were approved.

The government passed the Decision on the determination of the prices of the technical examination of vehicles which establishes the minimum price of usual and special technical examination of vehicles and a Decision on determining the price for vehicle removal.

Conclusions were adopted concerning special recognition for artists who have made outstanding contributions to national culture and the presentation of national recognition certificates for contribution to the development of sport.
