The Serbian government adopted at its session today the amnesty Bill, which envisages amnesty for persons who, since April 18, 2006, up until the date when this law will come into force, have avoided their military obligations.

Also the government adopted the Bill on emergency situations, with which a framework will be created for the efficient protection of citizens and material goods in case of emergency situations, and the Bill on fires, which defines the fire fighting system and improves the level of safety of people and material goods.
Other Bills adopted at today's session are the Bill on amendments to the Law on corporate income tax, the Bill on amendments to the Law on income tax, and the Bill on amendments to the Law on accounting and auditing.
The government also adopted the Bill affirming the Memorandum of Understanding between the Serbian and British governments concerning cooperation in defence and the Bill affirming the Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment with the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context.
At today’s session it also passed the Bill affirming the 1997 Protocol Amending the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships.
