The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in a statement that they discussed Belgrade’s stance concerning UNMIK’s role in Kosovo-Metohija in 2010 and its role as a representative of the Pristina provisional institutions at international gatherings.
Jeremic informed the UN Secretary General about the ongoing debate at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, voicing his hope that the process will help to stabilise the region.
They also looked at the participation of Serbian troops in peace operations, the statement adds, noting that during his stay in New York Jeremic also held separate meetings with representatives of the five current and five future members of the UN Security Council.
