The Serbian government today adopted the bill on administrative disputes, thus synchronising this field with the Serbian Constitution, especially with provisions of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
It also adopted the bill on the annual financial report for the 2008 budget, which has taken into account the objections from the State Audit Institution’s Report on Auditing the Serbian Annual Financial Statement for 2008.
The government also adopted the bill on amendments to the Law on pensions and disability insurance, stipulating that pensions and financial compensations remain the same in 2010.
The bills on advisory and expert affairs in agriculture and on amendments to the Law on financial assistance to families with children were also passed.
On the basis of the Serbian Regulatory Reform Strategy for 2008–2011, envisaging a reduction of regulations, the government passed the decree nullifying 15 decrees and a decision recalling 11 decisions pertaining to redundant regulations.
It also tasked ministries to revoke the accompanying bylaws under their jurisdiction.
