Agreement on procurement of vaccines from Novartis signed

The Serbian Institute for Health Insurance announced today it has signed with the Swiss company Novartis a contract on procurement of vaccines against the flu caused by new virus type A (H1N1).
According to the contract, Novartis will deliver the first amount of 500,000 doses of vaccine within 25 days.
The company promised to do everything to deliver the vaccine before the agreed deadline.
Novartis, represented by Jugohemija, was the only bidder in the tender with complete documentation. It offered the vaccine at a price of RSD 799 per dose, or around €8, reads the statement.
