229 H1N1 cases confirmed in Serbia

The Milan Jovanovic Batut public health institute stated that 229 H1N1 cases have been confirmed in Serbia up until now and that after the death of the patients from Cacak and Nis yesterday the death toll has risen to five.
From October 26 until today 84 cases of the H1N1 flu were registered and the majority of these patients are school children.
Reports of the spread of the H1N1 flu have been received from Kraljevo, Uzice, Paracin and in schools in Cacak, Nis, Ivanjica, Prilike and Kragujevac.
All measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the virus in health institutions, elementary and high schools and kindergartens.
