Minister of Labour and Social Policy Rasim Ljajic today met with a Belgian parliamentary delegation led by Lower House Speaker Patrick Dewael and discussed the continuation of Serbia’s EU integration process and cooperation with the Hague tribunal.
The Ministry says in a statement that Ljajic said that the majority of Serbian citizens have chosen the road towards the EU, which is also the government’s main priority, asking for Belgium’s full understanding and support in the integration process.
Ljajic also informed the Belgian MPs about the Serbian government’s firm resolve to conclude cooperation with the Hague tribunal as soon as possible.
Head of the Belgian parliamentary delegation Patrick Dewael praised Serbia for cooperation with the Hague tribunal. He said that Serbia has made major progress regarding EU integration.
Dewael highlighted the results the Serbian government has achieved in the process of creating the required conditions for visa liberalisation, concludes the statement.
