Defence ministry, Serbian Army delegation to visit USA

The Ministry of Defence stated that State Secretary of Defence Dusan Spasojevic will head a delegation of the Ministry and the Serbian Army to the UN headquarters in New York.
The statement adds that the Ministry and Army delegation will meet with top representatives from the Pentagon, State Department, Congress and the US National Safety Council to discuss issues related with bilateral cooperation and the political and security situation in the region.
The Serbian delegation will also hold meetings with UN Under-Secretary General of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations Alain Le Roy and ambassadors from several UN Security Council member countries.
The talks will concern the participation of the Serbian Army in UN peacekeeping missions, the statement concludes.
