Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Chairman-in-Office Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passy said that Serbia-Montenegro and Bulgaria have good bilateral relations and called for the improving of cooperation in transport infrastructure.
Kostunica reiterated that the state union is determined to integrate into the European Union, welcoming the support which EU foreign ministers pledged at the Maastricht meeting.
The Prime Minister also underlined the difficult position of Serbs and other non-Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija, and the violation of their basic human rights.
Passy pledged OSCE's full support for Serbia-Montenegro's efforts to join the EU, adding that OSCE is making efforts to protect Serbs and other non-Albanians in the province.
He also described the relations between Serbia-Montenegro and Bulgaria as good and highlighted this year's increase in the trade volume between the two countries.
