Sreckovic attends Varvarin Municipal Day ceremony

The Ministry for the Diaspora today stated that Minister Srdjan Sreckovic attended a ceremony marking the Day of the Municipality of Varvarin.
The Minister pointed out that owing to Municipal President Zoran Milenovic's efforts, Varvarin has made great progress.
The municipal authorities have clearly shown that they are ready to cooperate with international institutions, he said, adding that the US Embassy has helped modernise the municipal authority building and the US Army is currently providing financial assistance for the renovation of schools, kindergartens and public health institution in Varvarin.
Sreckovic pointed out that the construction of a gas pipeline network and a regional water supply system are of vital importance for the development of Varvarin.
Apart for Minister Sreckovic and Varvarin Municipal President Zoran Milenkovic, the ceremony was attended by US Embassy Political Officer Robert Kokta, concludes the statement.
