The Ministry of Energy and Mining stated that Minister Petar Skundric today received a Congolese delegation led by the Congolese President’s First Advisor for Energy and Mining Clement Mubiayi Nghiem.
The statement says that the talk mostly concerned broadening cooperation in electric energy, as well as in other areas in order to boost their business relations.
The participants also looked at other possibilities for cooperation between Serbia and Congo. The Congolese delegation presented several projects whose realisation is of utmost state importance.
Congo plans to start building two large-scale hydroelectric plants and to hire Serbian contractors for the job since they have already cooperated on several other major energy projects, the statement adds.
