Dulic at UN General Assembly in New York

Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic will be in New York from September 22 to 25 attending the UN General Assembly in his capacity as the chairman of the UNEP Governing Council.
The Ministry says in a statement that on September 22 Dulic will take part in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change along with key world leaders in this remit. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will chair the discussion.
The goal is to reach consensus over the document that will succeed the Kyoto Protocol and is to be adopted in December in Copenhagen, the statement reads, recalling that this February Serbia took over the two-year presidency of UNEP, the top UN body for environmental issues.
