The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Minister Jeremic and UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres met today to discuss the problem of refugees and IDPs in Serbia.

Jeremic pointed out that it is necessary to facilitate the return of refugees to Croatia and IDPs to Kosovo-Metohija as soon as possible.
The two sides agreed that they must be guaranteed a safe return and the rights to their own property.
Jeremic and Guterres also agreed to organise an international conference in Belgrade concerning refugees by the end of this year, concludes the statement.
