The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy stated that the working group for overcoming issues related with employees’ rights during the financial crisis met today and reached overall agreement on the set of measures for resolving them.
The statement adds that the set of measures will be urgently sent to the Serbian Employers Association and trade unions so they may submit proposals to further improve the working group’s proposal.
If they do not request any major amendments, the measures will be sent for adoption at the next government session.
At today’s meeting the working group invited both sides to appoint their representatives to the group, as well as agreeing to start visiting municipalities and companies throughout Serbia from next week.
The visits will aim at acquainting the broader public with the proposed set of measures and seeking possibilities for solving issues within companies whose business has been jeopardised due to the crisis, adds the statement.
