Government adopts several bills, decrees

At today’s session the government passed the bills on the adoption of the International Labour Organisation’s Maternity Protection Convention (No 183) and on affirming Protocol 14 BIS along with the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

It also adopted the bill on affirming acts amending the Constitution and the Convention of the International Telecommunication Union, as well as the bill on affirming the agreement on cooperation between Serbia and Russia to export used nuclear waste to Russia.

The government passed the bills on affirming the Agreement on Economic Cooperation between the Serbian and Croatian governments and the Agreement between Serbia and the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe regarding the centre’s legal status in Serbia.

It also adopted amendments to the decree on the terms and manner of state subsidised purchase of cars made in Serbia and the decree on establishing the programme of construction, reconstruction and maintenance of water management facilities for 2009.

The government agreed to alter the basis for closing the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation in Infrastructure Projects between Serbia and China and the Communiqué on closing the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Tourism between the Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and the Chinese National Tourism Administration.
