The Serbian government’s Public Administration Reform Council, presided by Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, adopted the proposal of the Serbian public administration reform strategy drafted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

The session was also attended by other Council members - Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus and ministers Dragan Jocic, Mladjan Dinkic and Zoran Loncar. The Council decided to forward the initiative to the government’s next session.
The Council accepted the joint statement signed by Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Zoran Loncar and Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic that points to the necessity of depolitisation of public administration, income system reform and pace of public administration reform.
