Police cut drug smuggling route

The Ministry of Interior today stated that the Serbian police force cut another cocaine smuggling route, from South America to Serbia via Western Europe, as part of a coordinated international action.
Dragan Vukovic a.k.a. Vuk (b.1964) and Slavoljub Tasic a.k.a. Sasa (b.1962), both from Nis, were arrested under suspicion of producing, storing and selling illegal drugs.
The value of the drugs is estimated at over €100,000, reads the statement, adding that the suspects have been turned over to the investigative judge at Nis District Court.
