The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development stated that only the National Employment Service and registered employment agencies can mediate in the employment of Serbian citizens abroad.
There are 54 registered private employment agencies in Serbia, the Ministry stated.
These agencies are not allowed to charge unemployed people for their services and are obliged to submit their information to the Ministry before those who obtain employment abroad leave the country.
In order to provide better information, the Ministry has founded the Migrant Service Centre at Koste Abrasevica 10, telephone number: 011/24-16-836, email: iombegmsc@iom.int.

Necessary information is also obtainable from the Ministry’s Employment Sector, telephone number: 011/ 28-55-242.
