The Coordinating Body for Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja today stated that it has announced two competitions for financing projects aimed at promoting social and minority rights and NGOs in southern Serbia.

A total of RSD 9 million will be allocated for the projects, which will help meet the cultural needs of children and young people, encourage communication and tolerance between national minorities and develop the health and education systems and sports.
The Coordinating Body will set aside RSD 3 million for the development of NGOs and the promotion of communication between young people from Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja and other parts of Serbia. The projects will also help inform people about their constitutional and human rights.

NGOs, citizens’ associations, non-profit organizations and legal persons are able to participate in the competitions and the deadline for submitting applications is August 21.
