Serbia supports peaceful settlement of conflicts

The Serbian Foreign Ministry commented today on the riots that broke out in the Chinese region of Xinjiang, stating that Serbia fully supports the One-China policy and China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Serbia gives its full support to the Chinese policy of creating harmony between the various communities in China and values the efforts being made by the Chinese government to achieve this goal.
Serbia condemns all forms of violence, is opposed to ethnically motivated attempts at separatism and supports the peaceful settlement of conflicts.
Serbia expressed deep regret over the incidents in the Xinjiang region and supports the Chinese government’s efforts directed towards establishing peace in the area, concludes the statement.
