Malovic to attend Venetian Commission plenary session

The Ministry of Justice stated that Minister Snezana Malovic will today attend a plenary session of the Venetian Commission in Venice.
The statement adds that Malovic will address the Venetian Commission and at the plenary session the Commission will give its opinion of the working version of Serbia’s criteria for the appointment of judges and prosecutors comprised by the working group.
Malovic said that the session will be of great importance bearing in mind that the opinion of the Venetian Commission will be a significant starting point for the High Judicial Council and the State Prosecutors’ Council to draft and adopt the final criteria for the appointment of judges and prosecutors.
Apart from Malovic, Assistant Minister for EU integration and international projects Dragana Lukic will also attend the session, concludes the statement.
