The Serbian Interior Ministry stated today that First Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic has appointed Police Lieutenant Bratislav Dikic, former Commandant of the Nis Gendarmerie, as the new Commandant of the Gendarmerie.

According to the statement issued by the Interior Ministry, Bratislav Dikic studied in Novi Sad, where he earned his Masters and Doctors degrees at the Faculty of Management, specializing in Crisis Management.
He has been working at the Ministry of Interior for the past 20 years, for 10 of which he was a member of the Special Anti-terrorist Unit (SAJ).
He has received a number of awards for his work, concludes the statement.
