Serbia, Croatia to cooperate in fight against sports violence

Serbian Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic-Markovic talked today with Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Djurdja Adlesic about the problem of violence in sport.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Samardzic-Markovic and Adlesic talked about laws appertaining to this issue, cooperation between legislative and executive authorities and preventive measures, with a special emphasis on educational activities in elementary and secondary schools.
Agreement was reached concerning models for joint action, primarily concerning a constant exchange of experiences. Samardzic-Markovic invited the Croatian delegation to participate in the “Promoting Diversity to Counter Racism and Violence” conference, which the Ministry will hold in Belgrade at the end of October.
