Bill amending Law on income tax adopted

The Serbian government adopted a Bill amending the Law on income tax in its session today.
The government also approved the Bill on prison sentences for organised crime deeds, Bill on gender equality, Bill on communal police and Bill on e-documents.
The Decree on the terms and conditions for reducing salaries and benefit payments in public administration and the public sector was adopted. A decision was made regarding the formation of a budget fund for resolving the problems resulting from the global economic crisis.
Savings from the temporary reduction of salaries in public administration and the public sector will be paid into the fund.
The government approved conclusions to adopt a programme for the distribution of funds for cultural projects, the signing of a joint declaration between the Serbian government and the Energy Charter Secretariat as well as a Conclusion regarding the measures necessary for accelerating the process of restructuring the public railway company Zeleznice Srbije.
