Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with Wolfgang Schauble, vice-chairman of the CDU/CSU caucus in the Bundestag, noting that Serbia-Montenegro's integration into European Union institutions calls for strengthening the state union's institutions.
Kostunica also underlined the importance of passing a new Serbian constitution and combating organised crime and corruption.
The Prime Minister also stressed that institutional guarantees are a key precondition for the safety, survival and return of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs to the province.
Schauble said that Germany is interested in improving cooperation with Serbia and highlighted the importance of integrating West Balkan countries into the EU.
