The Serbian government adopted today the Bill amending the 2009 Budget Law with revenues amounting to RSD 649.3 billion, expenditures of RSD 719.8 billion and budget deficit totalling RSD 70.5 billion.
The government also adopted their Bill reducing salaries in public administration and public sector.
Also, the government adopted the Bill amending the Law on taxes, under which tax is increased on motor vehicles over 2 litres in size..
This regulation will introduce a 10% tax on mobile phones as well as taxes on ships and boats and aircraft used for private purposes.
The government adopted the Bill amending the Law on income tax, envisaging an increase in the tax on author’s rights and a decrease in the taxes on agriculture and forestry from 14% to 10%.
The Bill amending the Law on mining, the Bills on stamps and the confirmation of the International Renewable Energy Agency’s statute, as well as amendments to the Law on writing off debts for obligatory health insurance were also adopted at today’s session.
The government agreed to oblige all state bodies and services to draft plans for reducing the numbers of their employees and to submit them to the Public Administration Council within 15 days time.
