Parliament adopts Law on registry books

The Serbian Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government stated that MPs adopted today the Law on registry books.
According to the Ministry, the adoption of this law is a big step in public administration reform.
The regulation will provide communication to state bodies with registries via computers so citizens will no longer have to collect papers by themselves.
The law also stipulates that birth certificates will no longer have a limited validity period.
