Top state officials in Orasac, Topola for celebration of Statehood Day

Serbian representatives, led by Serbian parliament speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic will attend the main celebration of Serbia’s Statehood Day on February 15 in Orasac and Topola.
The Department for Veteran and Disability Care at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy stated that the guests will lay laurel wreaths at Mariceva Jaruga, the place where on February 15, 1804 the First Serbian Uprising broke out.
During the celebration in Orasac Prime Minister Cvetkovic will address those present.
At St. George’s Church in Topola top Serbian officials will lay laurel wreaths at the coffin of Duke Karadjordje.
