Serbian Army Day reception held

Serbian Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac and Deputy Chief of General Staff General Miloje Miletic hosted a reception this evening on the occasion of the Serbian Army Day to be marked on February 15.
Sutanovac said at the occasion that the previous year posed big security challenges but defence system reforms were continued despite that.
The Minister said that he is convinced that all plans for the next year will be carried out and the reforms will continue.
He said that the priority is to make the defence system transparent for the public.
Miletic said that the reforms will create a modern army capable of dealing with any challenge.
We are ready to cooperate with all other military forces for the preservation of peace in the region and beyond, said Miletic, stressing that the Serbian Army will play an important role for regional peace in the future. The reception was attended by Serbian President Boris Tadic, Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, as well as ministers, representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of the Serbian Army and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije.
