The statement adds that following the fair, on March 19, a conference will be held at the EBRD premises.
The London food show is of great importance because London is an international financial centre and one of the Serbian government’s priorities in 2009 is to attract foreign investors, despite the increasingly difficult economic situation in the world.
Participation in the fair provides information to all relevant investors interested in the Serbian agro-market.
World trends show that the years to come will be marked by considerable disturbances in the food market, which is why the Serbian agro-industry must duly prepare for the challenges ahead and exploit its potential and advantages.
All large EU food producers will be invited to take part in the fair, while representatives from renowned banks and investment funds will also be visiting the food show. British and Serbian media will be covering the fair.
At the formal conference speakers from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the business sector and other relevant institutions will be able to brief the gathering on Serbia’s potential in the agro-sector.
All parties interested in the conference, who are also taking part in the food and drink event, are hereby invited to join the conference.
