On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights stated that a society can make progress and prevent similar crimes in the future only if it has a realistic view of its past, condemns crime, convicts the culprits and helps the victims.

According to the statement, the Holocaust victims must not fall into oblivion, as in that case an atrocious policy that has led to the deaths of millions of innocent people would also be forgotten.
We must teach future generations to be tolerant and to respect differences in order to prevent these crimes happening again, concludes the statement.
