At the Industry Committee’s session, Skundric said that Serbia was very well organised during the gas crisis.
He stressed that, since January 6, the Serbian government and all public companies have been working on solving the crisis, adding that there were no problems when Russia resumed gas deliveries.
The gas crisis is proof that Serbia can meet the needs of its citizens and economy when necessary, said Skundric.
He said that the reaction to the gas crisis was good as EPS did not import power.
Skundric said that the National Council for Infrastructure will today discuss the completion of the first phase of the Banatski Dvor underground gas storage facility.
He also recalled that the tender for a strategic partner for two thermal plants Kolubara B and TENT B 3 was announced yesterday, which is Serbia’s wider response to the energy crisis.
