Assistant Minister of Capital Investment dismissed over conflict of interest

At the proposal of Serbian Minister of Capital Investment Velimir Ilic, the government has relieved from duty Assistant Minister of Capital Investment Bogoljub Lazic due to the existence of a conflict of interest.
Ilic had previously consulted the Serbian secretariat for legislation and established that there was conflict of interest in the case of Lazic.
Ilic then proposed that the government should dismiss Lazic as deputy minister, which the government did at today’s session.
