Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic and Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt today stated that a meeting concerning Serbia’s EU integration will be held on January 26 in Brussels.

After meeting with Bildt,
Jeremic said that Serbia is preparing for the upcoming meeting.
Jeremic stressed that he will continue negotiating with his European counterparts in order to find ways for Serbia to overcome all the obstacles on its European path.
The Minister pointed out that this year may be very successful for the Western Balkans concerning EU integration, as the Czech Republic and Sweden, which advocate for EU enlargement in this region, will preside over the EU.
Bildt stressed that Sweden supports Serbia’s EU future and voiced hope that the Transitional Trade Agreement will soon be unfrozen.
Ministers Bildt and Jeremic discussed ways to speed up Serbia’s EU integration in the upcoming period.
