Police cut off international drug smuggling route

The Ministry of the Interior stated that on January 7 it concluded the investigative procedure led against an international drug smuggling criminal group.
The statement adds that five persons have been arrested and 20 kilos of heroin and two fully armed weapons seized.
Over 170 police and customs employees from Serbia, the Czech Republic, Germany and Hungary took part in the investigation.
During the search of the premises of the five arrested persons numerous pieces of evidence proving their illegal activities were found.
