Director General of Srbijagas Dusan Bajatovic said this evening that agreements with the German company Eon and the Hungarian company Mol, concerning gas supplies to Serbia, have been extended to January 24.
In a statement to Pink Television Bajatovic said that this means that Serbia will get 4.7 million cubic metres of gas daily until January 24.
He said that there will be no problems for those district heating plants which cannot be run on crude oil.
The good news is that progress was made today in talks about an additional 1 million cubic metres of gas from Germany and 1 million from Hungary for industrial use, said Bajatovic.
