Gas supply back to normal within several days

General director of the Serbian gas industry Srbijagas Dusan Bajatovic said he expects gas delivery to Serbia to be normalised within two or three days because Ukraine has agreed to the rules for the supervision of the transport of Russian gas.

Bajatovic told the Tanjug news agency that within the next two or three days normal gas supply to Serbia should be re-established.
He explained that the delivery of Russian gas is the only solution for the time being for several reasons. Namely, the delivery of a certain amount will be guaranteed and what is more important, at a much more favourable price than Serbia would get for any ad hoc arrangement, he added.
