Diaspora ministry sends 3,000 Serbian textbooks

The Ministry for the Diaspora stated that it has sent over 3,000 Serbian textbooks to children in the Diaspora, adding that the preservation of the mother tongue is of great cultural importance.
The books have been sent to Serbian schools in Chicago, London, Zurich, Toronto, Belgium, church municipalities in Australia and schools in Vukovar and Kumanovo.
The Ministry’s important goal is the preservation of the Serbian language and the Cyrillic alphabet and one way to do that is to keep refreshing teaching materials and libraries in the Diaspora.
