Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic said this evening that at a session held via telephone today the Serbian government affirmed the energy agreement with Russia and authorized Serbian President Boris Tadic to sign it.
In a statement to the Tanjug news agency Dulic said that this will finalize the set of arrangements made with the Russians which are part of an interstate agreement.
He specified that the arrangement concerns the privatisation of the Serbian oil industry NIS, the construction of the gas pipeline Southern Stream and the modernization of the gas storage facility in Banatski Dvor, with guarantees by the Russian side that all three projects will be carried out.
