Delevic told Tanjug that Serbia needs to translate European legislation into Serbian, adopt European laws and then fully enforce them.
She recalled that the regular annual report on Serbia’s progress towards EU integration was presented on November 5.
Delevic said that the year behind us was marked by the signing of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), which was ratified by Serbian parliament and which will be in force as of next year.
She also noted that a National Programme for Integration with the EU was adopted in 2008, which is an all encompassing document that integrates obligations pertaining from the SAA, visa liberalisation dialogue, documents on European partnership and recommendations from the progress report.
We were given a road map defining conditions for inclusion onto the Schengen white list, Delevic concluded.
