Dragan Sutanovac
Sutanovac stressed that Serbia disagrees with the formation of these forces and has no understanding of something like that whatsoever.
The Minister recalled that this is absolutely unacceptable for Serbia.
Asked whether he had contacts with EULEX representatives, he replied no.
Sutanovac expressed expectation that EULEX will fight for law enforcement and tackle crime in Kosovo, noting that those who have problems with the law are not from Serb communities.
He said he expects NATO officials to support Serbia’s initiative for the revision of the Kumanovo Agreement that established the ground and air safety zone between central Serbia and its administrative border with Kosovo.
The Serbian initiative is very good, Sutanovac said, noting that a response will not come soon as many technical things need to be prepared first.
He also said that Serbia is a member of NATO’s Partnership for Peace Programme and that the Serbian Army is a partner of KFOR’s.
There have been no conflicts in the past year, he said.
The Minister today opened the reconstructed road from Kursumlijska Banja to Rasevac, which the army finished in 13 workdays.
