According to the statement, the training will be organised by the WHO Regional Office for Europe, under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and will be held at the Milan Jovanovic Batut Institute of Public Health, while the practical part of the training will be organised at the Savski Venac health centre.
WHO charts will provide precise information about children’s growth and show that children born in various parts of the world can reach optimal growth by a certain age if satisfactory living conditions are provided.
Various disorders, which are the consequences of an irregular diet and have an influence on children’s growth, can be prevented from birth and therefore the continuous education of both doctors and parents in this respect is of top importance, concludes the statement.
