Issues of denationalisation, restitution to be solved

Minister for the Diaspora Srdjan Sreckovic stated today that Serbia is the only country in Europe that has not solved its issues of denationalisation and restitution, which are important preconditions for EU integration.
In a round table discussion on denationalisation, Sreckovic said that these issues should have been resolved back in 2000, after the democratic changes.
The Minister announced that he will advocate that the Serbian government passes a decision on the return of property confiscated after the 1941-1945 war.
