Mrkonjic told RTS that the National Council for Infrastructure decided to form an independent public company called Corridor 10.
So far the construction of the Belgrade ring road has been financed from a number of sources (city budget, state budget, National Investment Plan, international loans), but as of now, all work on this road will be financed by this company, he said.
Mrkonjic added that the underground was marked as the third most important project in Serbia, after roads and railways.
A working group should prepare plans for implementation of this project within 60 days, he announced.
Members of this group are Mrkonjic, Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas, Minister for National Investment Plan Verica Kalanovic and Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic.
