According to a statement issued by the Defence Ministry, Spasojevic today ended a two day visit to Denmark, where he and Fischer discussed bilateral military cooperation and the security situation in the region.
Joint future activities were discussed at the meeting and it was concluded that there is scope for improving cooperation over civil-military relations, emergency situations, peace missions and military education.
Speaking about the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, Spasojevic said that Serbia is committed to resolving problems by diplomatic and legal means, in accordance with the basic principle of international law and within the framework of Resolution 1244.
Fischer said that Denmark sees its role in Kosovo strictly within KFOR, that is, acting according to Resolution 1244.
Spasojevic also held a lecture on defence reforms at the Danish Institute for Military Studies.
