Mrkonjic recalled that the deal was supposed to be concluded by end-October, so that the construction of the motorway could start in spring, but that did not happen.
The Minister pointed out that Corridor 10 is a government priority and added that this investment will cost €1.7 billion.
Funds will be set aside from the budget revision to the amount of nearly RSD 2.5 billion, he said.
He also told the media that the reason for increasing airport fees for Montenegro Airlines is economic and not political.
Mrkonjic announced that he and the Director of Nikola Tesla Airport Bojan Kristo offered the Montenegrin airline a reciprocal price, i.e., the price that Jat Airways will pay to Podgorica airport.
Mrkonjic added that he also spoke with Montenegrin Minister of Transportation, Maritime and Telecommunications Andrija Lompar.
