The Serbian Ministry of Defence today stated that State Secretaries at the Serbian and Swedish Defence Ministries respectively, Dusan Spasojevic and Hakan Jevrell, today stated that the bilateral military cooperation between the two countries has been satisfactory so far, but it can be improved in the future.
Spasojevic also talked with Swedish State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Frank Belfrage about the political and security situations in the region and Serbia’s EU integration.
As for Kosovo-Metohija, he presented Serbia’s principled position on the necessity of respecting the basic principles of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
During the day, Spasojevic will also visit the Swedish National Defence College, where he will give a lecture.
On the second day of the visit the delegation will visit the peace operations centre ''SWEDINT'', according to the statement.
